Welcome to HRJ Events & vintage rentals. A wedding and event planning company that also provides unique vintage rentals for weddings, events, or styled photo shoots. Located just East of the Cascade Mountains in the quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington. We proudly serve weddings and events in Leavenworth, Cashmere, Wenatchee and surrounding areas.

Wedding and Event planning services

What exactly are those services you ask? There are numerous event designers and wedding planners out there, all with different definitions and parameters of what our job entails. Here is a summary of what we do, to help you better understand our services offered.

                     Event planning

e-vent (noun) 1. Important incident. 2 organized occasion. An event to me is anything that needs a reason to celebrate.

May it be a Birthday Party, Bridal Shower, Family Reunion, Backyard BBQ, or a Corporate Function, I want to be there to help bring together all of the details that go into making your event a memorable one. I will help you discover the layers, the textures, the colors, and the flowers that make your event unique. I will work with you to help determine the overall look and feel that you want your event to be.

On the day of the event I will be there to coordinate, connect with vendors, manage the timeline, and make sure that you are stress free.

 

                     Wedding Planning

Wedding Design & Planning is all about preparation and development. It is the who, what, where, when, why, & how of your wedding day.   A lot like event design, I will help you uncover all of the details that go into making your day incredible. I will offer etiquette advice, and help you stay on track of your budget.  I will provide vendor recommendations based on your style. I will create a wedding day timeline and floor plan, pass it on to the appropriate vendors, and make sure they are fully aware of what time they need to be there and where they are located. I will oversee and help with set up of the ceremony and reception. I will manage emergencies or unexpected occurrences.  Basically we are here for you, to help bring your wedding day vision to life, to oversee your day, and make sure everything is perfect on your first day as Husband and Wife.

Our Story


well hello there.

 

My passion for weddings ignited back in 2oo4 when I attended a magnificent wedding. The venue was gorgeous, the details were incredible, and everything was in its perfect place. I just loved it. From that moment on, even though I was far from getting married, I absorbed all things weddings. I was fascinated by all of the different ideas, designs, and details. I then started planning birthday parties, bridal showers, & bachelorette parties, anything that needed a reason to celebrate.

In 2010, I got the opportunity of a lifetime. I was offered a job at Red Barn Farms; a remarkable wedding venue, where I immersed myself completely for three years. I learned anything and everything about weddings, and began coordinating. I loved getting to know the brides and grooms, and carefully orchestrating their big day. I loved it so much that my job did not feel like a job, that’s when I realized this is what I was meant to do.

Aaron is my amazingly talented husband. My right hand man. My partner in crime. He’s the heavy hauler, fixer-upper, build anything kind of guy. I come up with a vision, and he just builds it. Some of the items in our inventory are even handmade by my cutie.

While living in the Palouse, we started our collection & love affair with antiques. We filled our wedding with many of our finds, and our honeymoon was a road trip filled with new & exciting antique stores along the way. With my passion for weddings, & our love of antiques, HRJ Events was born.

I had the pleasure of watching Heather work with my (now) daughter-in-law this past year as they planned a beautiful, fun wedding in which my son was the groom. HEATHER IS WONDERFUL! She worked tirelessly yet cheerfully as she worked on a long list of wedding plans. Her perky personality is welcome, whether she’s helping note table measurements, the number of pine cones needed for the buffet table placards, figure out seating for family members at the reception, or giving ideas about how much burlap should be used to decorate for the occasion. The day of the wedding she worked tirelessly setting up indoor seating, only to move it again when the choice was made that the weather was fit for an OUTDOOR wedding after all! While I enjoyed being the mother of the groom, she kept track of details and made sure things went off without a hitch, inspite of some less-than-cooperative- weather. And she did this with a smile on her face, making it look effortless. (When we all know it wasn’t!) Heather gets my recommendation!
