well hello there

My name is Heather, & I am the owner and designer behind HRJ Events & Vintage Rentals!
So nice to meet you!

I started working in the wedding industry in 2010 and officially started my own business in 2014.

I am awful at writing about myself and never know what to say, but here are a few things that come to mind:

I am a follower of Jesus. I love the outdoors and the smell of that fresh mountain air! We recently took a vacation to Yosemite National Park & I am now determined to visit as many National Parks as I can! My favorite color is gray. I have a slight obsession for stripes, Starbucks mugs, lotions & weekly trips to Target! I love antiques and most of the decor in our home is from finding amazing vintage pieces at flea markets with my husband! The way to my heart is through handmade gifts.

I love adding personal touches to any event, and often times me or my husband Aaron will custom make decor pieces to really make your event stand out!

Below you will see my sweet family! We are a husband and wife team with two small kids in tow!

My husband Aaron is a full time structural engineer, but is the builder behind HRJ Events! He’s handcrafted just about every chalkboard we have on our rental list, he’s built all of our arbors, and just about anything I can dream up! He often helps with delivery/pickup of our rental items, so if you see him, be sure to say hello!

Our boys are Avery & Oliver, and they are the light of our lives! They are the reason we have decided to slow down in this business, and really relish this precious time we have together with them while they are so little!
